I don't get to see the reserves or the various under age kids in the academy play so I was curious if there are any over all general thoughts on which players names get brought up as having potential to eventually one day make it up to the top club eventually.

It is obvious we can't rely on incoming transfers alone with our budget.

I would be curious to know which names I need to keep an eye out for in the future! (y)

George Green looks an outstanding prospect
Jake Bidwell seems a very promising LB
Eric Dier Promising CB (only on loan atm.)

Johann hammar, Anton Forrester. Both outstanding talents.

Adam Davies, goalkeeper, for me, he has some nice chances to take a place as our 3rd/4th goalkeeper for next seasons, definetely
Tyias Browning, right back, for me he has a chance to make a similar career like Tony Hibbert
Johan Hammar, center back, really impressed a lot of people in U18, but he is having a lot of injuries problems lately
Eric Dier, center back, really exciting prospect in our U18 squad, hope we can get him on a contract
Luke Garbutt, left back, he is looking like a great young player on his loan spell in L2's Cheltenham, he already was in England's U19 squad, he looks a little bit like Baines-type player,
Jake Bidwell, left back, he is playing well in Brentford (L1) on his loan, already was called up to England's U19 team as well. Solid young player by any accounts.
Adam Forshaw, central midfielder, he had a really bad injury lately on his his loan debut for Brentford, he had broken his jaw, but he looked like a Champ-caliber player there.
Ross Barkley, central midfielder, we all know him and he is a real top prospect, I am sure he will make it
James Wallace, central midfielder, was really great on his loans.. last season in Stockport (L2), this season in Shrewsbury (L2) and Tranmere (L1), possibly another Osman-like-type player.
George Green, central midfielder, extremely exciting prospect, but he is still really young, but I believe he will make it to our team one day
Francisco Junior, central midfielder, plays good for our reserve, he seems like a confident player and I think we will see him playing for our team really soon
John Lundstram, central midfielder, heart of our U18 team, but I think it will be pretty hard for him to make that step into the seinor football, still he has some really nice chances
Conor McAleny, striker, impressed on his first start for Scunthorpe United in League One wth two assists and even as he isn't really a tall player, I think he definetely can make it for us, he plays a little bit like James Vaughan
Jose Baxter, striker, it is ages ago as he was for the first time in a touch with our first team, but still I think he can make it, he is playing well for our reserve, he was shoulders above League One on his this year's loan spell in Tranmere
Hallam Hope, striker, still too soon to say if he can make it against big defenders in Premier League, but he seems like a great talent in our U18 squad
Anton Forrester, striker, Everton's leading scorer in this season, but still, similarly to Hope, it is a big question how he will play against players like Vermaelen or Shawcross..

Anyway, there are other interesting players to watch in our young teams as Chris Long, Jasper Johns or Mateusz Taudul and others, but I think it is too soon to say. Still, I expect and hope at least 5 of these guys will make into a Premier League squad, hopefully it will be ours. :)
