At least he will sign players that
You're forgetting the bit where he tried to unsettle our two best players? Or the bit where he slagged us off? He's been desperate for a job yes. Most people like multi million pound pay offs. The traitorous little scrote has no affinity with us as amply proven
It was 11 years ago,

He’d just become manager of one of the biggest clubs in the world and let it get to his head a bit. Ultimately it all went tits up for him and I had a good laugh at him when it did. Doesn’t change the fact that I think he genuinely cares about Everton and our fortunes.

But he was at the richest club in the world and still tried to unsettle fellaini and baines at literally half their price. He knew that. Unforgivable.

He returns as a glorious conqueror. That Conference League didn't win itself.

You’re entitled to your opinion mate. Our club’s in a shocking state at the moment and I happen to think he’ll give it a decent shot at turning us around. Would’ve liked it to only be until summer but he was never gonna agree to that unfortunately.

I’ve never known a situation ever where the manager decides the amount to bid for players with no input from anyone else, but people seem to think Moyes had complete autonomy with Baines and Fellaini.

I think it’s more likely Woodward decided what his club would bid.

That was the same season Woodward lowballed Barcelona for Fabregas. Amusingly, after that disastrous summer of lowballing he overcorrected the other way and is the main reason they are in such a state now.
