The Royle Family or Only Fools and Horses

Rodney and Del win for me (partly as I had left the country before the other show aired) :P

Both great shows but Only Fools is really a classic. We dont get them often here uless youve got Fox and they are worth watching.

Id say Only Fools because I havent seen that much of the Royal Family, and Fools characters developed brilliantly as seasons passed.

As good as the Royle Family was ( and it was very good), its got to be the trotters for me. I have seen every episode tons of times and still laugh every time. Special moments are the chandelier episode which would be enough to sway my vote on that moment alone but there has been others like where Del falls through the bar and gets up to tell trigger "Lets go Trigger, your cramping my style!", that just cracks me up every time i see it:lol::lol:

Growing up on only fools and horses I bloody loved that show and dont mind saying i had a tear in my eye when they walked off into the sunset (only to spoil it all by coming back for another series). So that wins hands down, but the royal family i loved too. I remember the first series theres a scene when someone comes round and shelia grant asks "what did you have for your tea". Funny that cause it reminds me of my mates mum always asking that when i went round his house. Its all about mum's comparing diets of their neighbours. "what did you have?", "err, crispy pancakes", " we had corned beef hash!" Its a draw!
