I think we should try to model ourselves on a team like Sevilla FC.

They play with great style, have all the weapons and are succesful, currently holding the Uefa, Copa Del Rey and Spanish Cups.

The squad is a whos who, all technically gifted and capable of great football.

"Sevilla is an unusual football club. The club is owned by the fans, with the stocks distributed across a few major holders and a large base of fans. The club supports one of the most renowned training academies in the country, which has produced many famous players.
Sevilla FC has also promoted innovations such as a school of sport psychologists, who provide support for the younger as well as the professional players, and also more recently sports nutrition and medicine. Another recent success for Sevilla FC has been the establishment of its own radio station, "Sevilla FC Radio" (the first of its kind in Spain), their own local tv channel, "SFC TV", as well as other official media."

oh yeah, so good their manager left to go to the mega club spurs.

WE ARE EVERTON, we dont need to model ourselves on anyone, uefa cup aside, the other 2 trophies are hardly worth a mention, this is the greatest and hardest league to win in the world, take out the 2 obvious teams maybe a couple more and the rest would struggle to get out of the championship.

good team, some good players, we should sign jesus navas from there...

...but as soon as alves goes to one of the big clubs, and maybe kanoute, they will go down in the league

I think the only way we could sign Jesus Navas is if we moved the club to Seville. :( He suffers from homesickness and doesn't like leaving Seville.

I know :( He didnt even go on tour with sevilla in pre-season...

I think they're a great example in lots of ways. As mentioned they're youth set up is top class, and they're scouting network is even topper class. Yes they lost their manager to a richer club. the same thing happened with youth products like Sergio Ramos ( Real Madrid), and Jose Antonio Reyes (Arse). Julio Baptista was bought as an unknown defensive midfielder. They moved him up to a 'Cahill' position and he scored 50 goals in 2 seasons. Again Madrid stepped in. This is a reality for clubs in their, and our position. I don't like selling players to Manure and Arse, but its better than selling them to Crewe and Stockport coz they're not good enough.

we should shout that at torres next year, after all they are refering to him as el nino....the little boy.

bitty,bitty,bitty
torres still sucks titty!!!

I SAY WHAT I LIKE AND I LIKE WHAT I BLOODY WELL SAY!!
