Some Bristolian racing driver, it was revealed not long ago but was pretty much revealed when Richard Hammond had that crash because he was listed as being the expert on hand to give health & safety advice etc

Its officially Ben Collins

It's Damon Hill. Firstly think about the sort of person Top Gear needs to drive around high speed performance and F1 cars. They need someone with previous F1 experience and a damn good driver to manoever Ferrari Enzo's round the Top gear track. Secondly, where has the legend himself gone, he isn't involved with F1 at all as far as im aware and im a real petrol head.

THE STIG IS DAMON HILL . FACT.

Wrong, it's not a fact at all.

It's Ben Collins, a Bristolian racing driver as I've said.

The Stig, in full disguise, talking with a Bristol accent to a foreign TV crew – and then cuts to Collins sounding very similar.

The Health & Safety Executive report into Hammond's accident in September 2006 recorded that Collins had "worked closely with Top Gear as a high performance driver and consultant" and had prepared a briefing for the presenter.
