27 isn't old but obviously people naturally want younger players who could really develop into something.

Haha! We probably won't get either of them anyway.

As long as we get rid of Heitinga and bring in at least 3 decent players, including a winger and a good quality striker then I'll be happy.
 

Would love to get Moses but I don't know if its a good idea to spend our entire transfer kitty (assuming no one leaves) on a single player when we need 3 or 4 new players. Thing is bringing 3 or 4 good players with only 10M sounds almost impossible, thats if we even have 10M to spend. We'll definitely have to work the Loan Market to make it happen.
 
He got the job on Wednesday, Thursday morning went to Finch Farm to meet the staff there, by Saturday the media linked him with 10 players already!:lol:
 
On a side note, spending 15M on a 20 years old player like Fellaini might now work out, but if it did, you will earn the money back + make a profit, while spending 5M on a 29 years old is a guaranteed financial failure

Doesn't always work out like that though, and wages need to be taken into account. I wouldn't say distin was a financial failure for example, whereas Heitinga with his wages hasn't worked out as great value even if we sell him before he runs his contract down and he left for nothing(which could also easily happen with a £15million 20 year old).
