Strootman is one of my favourite players in world football, would love him here and I think he'd fit in perfectly, awesome player, think Gibson with all the attributes of Fer, utterly boss.

apparently we are after Eduardo Salvio form Benfica

...guesswork is fine and dandy as well as being a bit of fun but I'm really intrigued to see who Martinez brings in.From all the evidence, it seems Martinez is a real studier of the global game and I have a feeling that he has a number of plyers in mind who aren't even mentioned in this thread.
This, the Paraguayan Gareth Bale and the Hungarian Lewandowski are just waiting to become superstars in Everton blue.
If Martinez can deliver a couple of top class additions we can really push on. Can't wait to see our new signing from Red Star Bucharest score his first anfield derby hatrick

Benfica winger Eduardo Salvio is attracting interest from the Premier League this summer, according to his agent.

Salvio enjoyed an impressive season with the Portuguese giants and was part of the Benfica team beaten in the Europa League final by Chelsea.

Speculation has linked Everton with a move for the Argentina international and agent Agustin Jimenez claims his client's future is uncertain at this stage.

"At the moment, his future is undecided," Jimenez told O Jogo. "We need to speak with Benfica and to discuss the options.

"There is interest out there this summer from clubs in England and Italy and I believe they have had contact with Benfica.

"After a big season it is normal that significant clubs will be interested. Now the decision is in the hands of Benfica.

"Salvio is content at the club but he is open to the possibility of a move."

Interesting. Good player. Would probably cost way to much though...

Salvio is a good player, a RM a few caps for argentina only 22, problem is though we rarely sign players linked with "a few clubs from england etc." we normally do our business on the sly under the radar
