And the Mirror says that Demba Ba is surplus to requirements at the Bridge because they want to sign Cavani and Hulk. They'll reportedly be happy to get their money back on him. He's not 29 until the end of the season. I think I'd rather pay £7m for him than £6.5m for Kone.
The Mirror also thinks that we'll pay £30m for McManaman, McCarthy and Alcaraz. According to the FA the defender has been offered a contract by Wigan. I think £20m for the trio is asking a bit much personally.

If this happens I'd love us to try and get De Bruyne. If it was only a loan then so be it, Lukaku showed at West Brom that it's worth doing even if there's no agreed fee to buy.
