With Palermo being relagated to Serie B and the fact that Martinez is Spanish and other Spanish speaking players would help Abel Hernandez settle if we got him. Would definitely give us another dimension. Make it happen Robbie.

Plus Martinez has had dealings with Palermo before, with that Boselli.

Hernandez is a young Uruguayan and would be a good signing but some have said he suffers with injuries alot so thats no good for us!. Palermo have got alot of good players though but the majority of them will be going to the big sides in serie a.

Contract runs till 2016, when signed new deal last jan, he said he is very happy in scicily. Think he will stay and get them back in serie a after a injury hit season.

A Chelsea fansite reckons we're in for Victor Moses for £10m. It could make sense.

And the Mirror says that Demba Ba is surplus to requirements at the Bridge because they want to sign Cavani and Hulk. They'll reportedly be happy to get their money back on him. He's not 29 until the end of the season. I think I'd rather pay £7m for him than £6.5m for Kone.

The Mirror also thinks that we'll pay £30m for McManaman, McCarthy and Alcaraz. According to the FA the defender has been offered a contract by Wigan. I think £20m for the trio is asking a bit much personally.

£30m????????????????

how do people like this get a job, seriously now?

He's not said that anywhere had he?

When De Bruyne talked yesterday he said he had no idea where he'd be playing.

I've seen no comment from Jose anywhere about De Bruyne. The player himself was angling for a loan move to Dortmund, but as mentioned before he's been used as bait in a deal for Chelsea to take Schurrle with De Bruyn moving to Leverkusen for a season.

Agree 100% that it'd be excellent to see him in the EPL, but I really don't think Everton need to be fostering players from other clubs at the expense of their own talent. I'd like to think we're bigger than that.

Who do you guys want to replace Tim Howard this window?

vorm, mignolet, mccarthy, forster, stekeknlenberg would have been a good gamble for £3m imo.

If spurs can attract lloris there's no way we can't attract really good european keepers just below his level.

i suspect vorm and mignolet would be a tad too much for our budget for what they're worth though.

need a new number 1 though, without question in my eyes, howard will be a handy number 2
