On channel 4 next Monday night at 9pm.

I saw the preview and it looks spiffing. A must see programme.

Thanks for that Vim, we are away but given the chance I'll watch that(y) Channel four has an hour lapse broadcast on cable, stations vary, so it can be seen at 10 o'clock as well(y)

I'm really looking forward to this as i love local history stuff, though Tony Robinson deserves a rough slap across his annoying face.

Cheers Vim will look forward to that remember as a kid being taken round the docks with the school.all the dockers where great joking with us and then breaking crates of fruit and giving it to us we all came out with pockets bulging with oranges and bananas happy times(y)

I think the dock that was discovered was from the 1700's,and i think i remember a news snippet about it and the fact that they also found the remains of a roman road while redeveloping Chavase park/ Strand areas.

Thats the one, its the same one Coyney went round from school:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Insert steel mills in for docks and I don't think the program would be much different my hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
