Sensible choice to reduce the amount of plastic and especially lithium batteries going into landfill. Only the complete idiocy of a free market capitalist economy would have ever come up with such a thought in the drive to get wealthy now and bugger the consequences.

If people want to knacker their lungs while looking like a 1950s steam engine that's their choice. But not at the expense of the planet.

Vaping is disgusting. People driving cars while vaping with kids in the back (illegal), vaping in shops like B&Q (illegal).. I hate it so much and it wont be long until they declare its as dangerous as smoking..

My son vapes. He's 19 and must think were daft and not noticed. A guy in my work vapes and goes through a 10,000 vape every 2 days roughly. People have them hanging from thier mouths 16 hours a day now. It needs knocking on the head completly.
 

Could go either way really. Either it'll forcibly deter younger people from the practice altogether or people will start moving onto smoking actual cigarettes again.

My mate (who's been a smoker for years) has been on the disposable vapes for ages now but, in the event of a ban, he'll likely just move back onto ciggies.

Oh aye, me and my mates in our broke youth used to gather the dregs of tobacco left in cigarette butts. We'd then shove it in an empty tobacco pouch. 'Blend of Butt' was the brand. Or scutt if you felt less generous.

Yes, we pretended it was more like Withnail and I bohemian squalor, so thus cool. In reality it was more Eddie and Richie from Bottom desperation.

Glad I a) don't smoke any more and b) I'm not flat broke.

Now, when someone would go outside for smoko, it would last the length of typically one cigarette.
How does a vaper time their smoko break?

Nah, he`ll move back to the old skool vapes, where you have to put liquid in them, like everyone used to do before the disposable ones came along.

They smoke them from dawn til dusk. Its a huge future problem. It antagonises asthma in people by putting stress on the lungs. Vaping illnesses will start appearing and be massive in future!

My eldest lad and all his mates do - they`re all physically very active, footy / rugby / gym.

Yet every morning I can hear him yokking up greenies in the bathroom.

I had a look at his one of his vapes and it`s the same strength as Malboro reds - strong.

Depending on how you look at it and who you are, it`s the greatest con trick in recent times ever pulled by the tobacco industry.

They`ve shot themselves in the foot though, by getting greedy and making the marketing of them so blatantly obvious aimed at kids, that it was only a matter of time before there was a clampdown on them.

He never did that. He's never been one to go out of his way to get into the vaping 'scene' when it first happened, before the disposables were really a thing yet.

Think you underestimate just how convenient the disposables are. They were great for just popping into any off license to pick a new one up whilst you are out-and-about. Packs of ciggies are still as accessible as they've ever been.
