I was thinking about the players i want us too sign, now clearly i want Ronaldo, Villa and Silva, but i realise that we have a few problems getting them in. So this is my REALISTIC wish list, i mean clearly i dnt know how much money we have got, so maybe its unrealistic, but hey lets give it a go!!

Moyes stated we need 5-6 players, did he mean w/o AJ? Did he know he was gonna sell him, so for that issue im gonna make 6 signings. They are :

Moutinho 15-20m
Milito 8m
Turan 6m
M'Bia 4m
Manu 6m
Ochoa 4m


Then i would try get a defender who can play RB/CB on loan, i cant think of anybody, but im sure Moyes has 1 up his sleeve.

Now with my new wonderful signings, this would be my best squad, if everybody was fit and good to go.

Now i dont think we have the money to sign all them players, so clearly the 1s we dont get are to be replaced by the subs and the subs will be replaced with the young lads. Its just a wish list.
 
So do you think its a good idea to spend money on players who are only going to make the bench? You are looking at spending 14m on subs. :)
 
Yes i thought this and i also thought of not signing Manu, BUT we will get injurys and maybe we could rotate players to keep them fresh, not rotate like the fat Spanish waiter, but something along the lines replace 1 or 2 players, its always good to keep the squad fresh.
 
I hate speculating on who i want. Because were always so far of. Hopfully Moutinho is not far away, an would be a top draw signing. After that i trust the boss will bring the best players for the team.

Would also like D.Bent but not sure if that will happen now.
 
manny not coming back , he has been playing pre season games with valencia , mainly because david sliva will be off to a big team

I'd like to see this:

In:

Joao Moutinho: 18 million
Darren Bent: 10 million
Manuel Fernandes: Loan
Mehmet Topal: 6 million

Out:

Andy Johnson: 12 million
 
Not being funny but there is no way Galatasaray would sell their prized asset, Arda Turan for 6m when they want 10m Euros for Mehmet Topal.

He's a great player, but would be £10m+

Would be a great signing tho.

I would be happy with the following:

Niemi - Free (might be a difficult sell as we can't guarantee him first team footy)

Topal - I remember him playing well in front of the back 4 for Turkey - 6m

Fernandes - 6m

Moutinho - 15m

Adriano - 10m? - This one is a bit far fetched but by no means impossible. Mourinho might be open for business and although the big guy has had some issues, he could still be a terrific number 9. Otherwise go after Pavlyuchenko.

One Championship youngster defender (Mattock or Beevers are highly rated) 2-3m

Total spend would therefore be £40m which sounds crazy at first, but if we genuinely had £12m for Fernandes last August, got £6m for Faddy, and £12m for AJ then that is £30m towards the kitty there.

We'll see what happens, some lad on NSNO is saying he's definatly leaving. Whether that's true or not I don't know.

You never know with Ramos, I get the feeling he wants his own team. Players like Arshavin, Capel etc coming in.
 
If we got

Moutinho
M'Bia or Topal
Manny - think he needs to be signed rather than another loan spell, get him settled then watch him shine
loan striker, seen Toto Tamuz mentioned somewhere
and a loan GK

and a couple of younger championship players (Beavers, Garven etc)

I'd be really happy with that

B. Howard - £4 million
Topal - £ 5 million

Out: Johnson - £12 Million

Total Spending: £24 million which we could manage as it was the same as last year.
