Lighthouse Family are up there for me. Arguably the greatest 'easy listening' band ever.
 
1. British sense of humour
2. Everton, of course
3. Liverpool (wonderful city)
4. Glasgow (nearly as smart as Liverpool)
5. British tolerance
6. British rationalism and acceptance of the enlightenment
7. The separation of religion from the state
8. British friendship with the USA
9. Thomas Hobbes
10. The British women :P

Now, what don't I like ...

Absolutely one of the many great things about the English.
 
Things that make me proud to be Canadian:
- tolerance and freedom, with a sense of community
- Canadian courage - understated but resolute
- our female musical talent: Avril, Nelly, Sarah, Alanis, Jann, Anne and all the others NOT named Celine
- our Winter Olympic heroes and heroines
- our soccer stars: Christine, Charmaine, Kara
