Well, I've had better lunchtimes
Right, well, here we go.. At lunchtime, a girl that I really like came upto me to talk (sounds good so far huh
), and it soon became apparent that she wanted to ask me something (even better I thought!). Well, I thought wrong.
What she wanted to ask me was not good, not good at all. She wanted to ask me if I would go out with...........her best mate (my thoughts were something along the lines of, 'oh bollocks'). Well this was uncomfortable! She could tell from what must have probably been a pretty cheesed off face that I wasn't exactly keen on the idea. Now don't get me wrong, her mate is a nice enough person, but I don't want to go out with her.
Christ. And her input into the conversation such as "What's wrong with her?", "Go on" and "She's really nice" were not helping. (by now my thoughts were 'what in christ's name do I say?!). I had a whole angel and devil situation going on. One half of me was screaming "SAY NO YOU STUPID GIT" but the other half was saying, "well, you don't want to look like a **** to the girl that until now you thought you had a chance with". In the end I settled for an unconvincing, "I'll think about it". Bollocks.
Thankfully I managed to avoid both girl I like and said other girl for the rest of the day. Now, could use a bit of advice! Not exactly in jon_efc's league of problems but could do with some input anyway! And no dog related solutions thanks chico
