...some 15 years or so ago I was asked 'have you ever been to a bent Everton game' by somebody with an insight into the club. I don't want to post the detail of the conversation that followed until checking with moderators/site owners that this would be allowed. I'm still not sure that its something I will post, but certainly wont do so if its not allowed.

Unless something can be substantiated with a printable reference (ie. not word of mouth) or citation that is proven, I'd advise against it.

If it's not backed up, it can simply be word of mouth/accusations/speculation etc. and that could result in legal action.

...it is hearsay, so probably best that I don't post. I'm absolutely sure the account of the conversation given to me by a 3rd party is correct, but I can't substantiate what was said to him. Fascinating stuff though and I have to say that nobody at Everton was implicated. I'll leave it at that but thanks for the steer.
