BLUEmin Marvellous

Player Valuation: £50k
Firstly, I do think Howard is a good goalkeeper, certainly better than we have had recently. However I find it increasingly alarming that the opposition, particularly last night, are tactically putting him as our weak link. They are obviously seeing something that perhaps our blue-tinted specs are not, what do others think? and could there be someone else to bring in, if there are any doubts. SAF let him go and, as we found out with Richard Wrong, good managers don't let good players leave.

Nothing wrong with Tim Howard, he's an excellent shot stopper and when confident is the best in the league bar Cech.

I think Cech used to be the top keeper in the league, but since his tussle with Hunt, he hasn't been the same keeper, and I think that has directly effected Chelsea's title chances this season.

Timmy Howard is right up there though. I always like to see him bollocking the defense when the opposing team gets a decent shot away!

i dont think they spotted a weakness in Howard, i think it was a tactic by Brann to put pressure on the keeper. they did it from the off so does anyone know if they do this with every team they play?

not exactly sure what you mean...

but here is all our league goals 2007...

I assume you can see it from this?

edit;

if you mean rup to the keeper when is about to take a goal kick...yeap, we pretty much do that with everyone, mucho effective.

sorry, i meant when you have a corner kick do you always surround the keeper, or was this just used against us because of a weakness you saw with our keeper?

great vid btw, you are obviously a capable team and we both had a scrappy game. you going to goodison?

Not to sound like an ass or anything, but we are usually quite good ( in our league ), so we dont have to do stuff like that ;) Ive seen it a few times...but its not every match. At least not with a comfortable lead.

But we are known to flood the box with players.

Im afraid i cant make it to goodison, i would have loved to go tho.

Nice vid. The number 22 looks good what's his name?

Everton was ( or still is from what i know ) intrested in him ;) His name is Thorstein Helstad, player of the year i Norway, scored 22 goals ( his kit number is 22 aswell) in normal league play.

Tim Howard. My dad hates him I love him. He's a fantastic goalkeeper of the highest quality. Good in the air, Shot stopper and he got a real personality. The squad seem to like him and well Davey Moyes loves him.

Best keeper we've had scince Nigel Martyn, Southall...

But Martyn still kicks his arse :)
