That's all true, but the last couple of results and more importantly performances has really put me on a downer, i'm finding it hard to feel optomistic about anything connected to our team at the moment, sooner we have our injured players back the better.

I have heard from another reliable source that we are at this moment trying to sign an out of contract world famous midfielder...................I will say more when more info comes to hand.
As for optimism, yes we've taken a knock or two but bloody hell why so many head over the cliff with the other lemmings is beyond me. That was the first time in eight months that we have conceded more than two goals away from home, many clubs would have snatched that record. We are in the middle of an unforseen injury crisis for our midfield, sods law is what I call it. It should also be born in mind that Villa beat Chelski 2 - 0 in their previous home game, they are no push over. As far as possession is concerned we dominated 57% to 43% but we couldn't turn that into goals and we were asleep at the back. If we had a manager who came out and papered over the cracks then I would be worried, remember all those years of [Poor language removed] from happy Walter, DM came out yesterday and told it how it was and he will do for me.
Incidentally all of you 'Yes, the Yak is the answer' brigade who are now saying he's [Poor language removed], I said that long before we signed him and yes I still stick by DM
