Ridiculous. Players should get injured so the card is guaranteed? If you make a reckless off the gorund with studs challenge or attempt to maim someone you should get the card for intent.
Whether that challenge was a red is a different matter.

Its not a red card for me, the contact is minimal and I dont think a decision like that goes against Chelsea

The tackle was high and out of control. I don't think this has any bias involved.

And I don't like Azpilicueta's reaction at all, but it is still a shocker.

For me common sense is the extremely dangerous tackle is still a red even if on this occasion nothing bad happened because of it. It doesn't have to be only yellow because he missed snapping his shin.
