For the last 4 or 5 years of Wengers reign, their fans were constantly calling for him to be removed because they were 'only' finishing around 4th every season and they demanded change because they believe they've a divine right to be winning titles.

They finally got their way and they've gone backwards at a rapid rate post-Wenger. Ok, they've won the FA Cup a couple of times but they are currently light years away from even 4th place, let alone winning the Prem.

£100m spent by Arteta since the end of last season and it's 0 points 0 goals and 7 conceded with I've no doubt more to come in the second half. Arteta is sinking fast and surely won't even see August out at this rate.

Wenger did start the decline in that club there's no doubt about that. The thing they failed to realize is it could get worse.
