Thing is for Inter/Milan/Juve it seems to have stayed in the 90s.

Any 'new style' team that comes in is always the talk of the town for years - Napoli, Atalanta, et al, have been doing great by not playing the way we've seen tonight, wonder why? lol

Difference was then they could afford anyone because of money laundering rich local business owners so that could compensate for the absolutely terrible football on display.

The only time in the last ~15 years I've enjoyed watching Italian football was the Euro finals, where it was an absolutely beautifully deserved win they managed to s***house themselves to.

Or maybe it was still horrible but it was against England and I'd justify anything as long as England lose.

Can't be sure tho.

honestly championship level in 2, 3 positions. krunic, messias and giroud wouldn't see any playing time even at everton

I like Sunderland actually, I think one reason is because I don't like Newcastle and last time I was in Sunderland I noticed someone had gone round painting over the word Newcastle on quite a few road signs.

Got to be a fan of that level of pettiness tbf
