Today’s Football - 2024/25 Season

Would be boss for Arsenal, exactly what they need
Yeah, made to measure, but the money people at Newcastle won't fancy gifting a rival such a strong player. And Arsenal paid out so heavily for Rice.
The difficulty of getting and keeping and paying a clutch of the best players to try and build a side that can achieve.

…ha, ha, the point being that there’s value out there even on a limited budget. Paying nothing up front is really no excuse for acquiring Beto, especially when at some point we’ll have to pay for him.

Perhaps you could explain why a club would give away their star centre forward for free?

So obvious for Newcastle today. Ipswich have no striker and no height up top. They are playing out from the back and are rubbish at it. Just closing them down and winning it back time after time.

Love what's happening this season for Forest. The old guard at Everton and many fans will have you believe that we can't challenge the top. The last decade has clubs that show you this is not true. Leicester, Newcastle, Villa, and there's Brentford, Bournemouth, Fulham. All with something to prove. The old guard at Everton and the Dyche army would have you believe that we are only good enough for fighting relegation each season.

How is Forest 3rd on the table?
In football, points are awarded based on the outcomes of matches. Here's how it works:

  1. Victory: When a team wins a match, they are awarded 3 points.
  2. Draw: If the match ends in a tie (both teams score the same number of goals), each team receives 1 point.
  3. Loss: The team that loses the match gets 0 points.
This system is used in most leagues and tournaments, such as the English Premier League, La Liga, and the FIFA World Cup.
