I know there's a home-grown player rule for squads numbers, but maybe they could create a new one that says clubs also have to play at least one or two young players in every game?

It'd even the playing field, as I'm sure most of the 20 clubs in the Premier League have at least two decent kids they could put out there, and it would give young home-grown players minutes in the League every week, but wouldn't be a disadvantage overall because everyone would have to do it, so it'd hopefully even out

Limit the number of loans you can send out to say 5-6 and you'd see a lot less kids signing for man utd/chelsea/man city.

At the Tranmere v Chester game. Tranmere are 2-0 up at half time, games been surprisingly good and there's a decent atmosphere at Prenton Park for a change.

Palavas lost on pens to Rodeo in the French FA Cup. I just checked the home side out and they seem passionately pro-RS just because Vignal - that lump of useless crap (11 appearances in 5 years) is their Chairman and his RS exploits (or to be more precise the RS's since he was on loan most of the time) are all over their front page.. (yawn). Anyway Rodeo - the visiting side - had 2 red cards on 80 mins and still held out for 40 mins to eventually win on pens. What a palavas.

See, you don't get that in the premier league

exactly! i'm presuming your post was quirky, but it's also true. That's the main issue with refs in this country, none of them really have any bottle. It doesn't help they get hounded by everyone in the media, social media, a whole club, all it's players and managers without being able to answer back to what is normally just an honest mistake. But they do seem to enforce the law more fairly on smaller occasions than on the big ones, that's my opinion anyway. Bet that incident won't be applauded anywhere in the media.
