we pretty much have to do the double over ireland now. Just gutting. That referee performance needs investigating, had nothing to do with the results, but i'm sure he was taking the absolute piss with us with some of those decisions.

Long way to go, plenty of twists and turns. What is apparent is Austria and Serbia are ordinary - in fact all teams in the group are.

Wales and ourselves won't get an easier group so no excuses if either fail to qualify.

they are yeah, but they're also no mugs. It's such a tough group, georgia are going to ruin my £80 accy the utter clowns by not beating moldova. They've been the only team out of the 4 we've played who deserved to beat us. But we're now going to be underdogs given our position, that'll help a lot i think.

As mentioned, there's plenty of games to go. I sincerely hope you qualify. Obviously, I'm loving that Ireland are doing so wall but, in all honesty, we're almost unwatchable

Also, we were in a somewhat similar position for the Euro qualifiers when it looked like Scotland were a dead cert to go through. We ended up taking 4 points off Germany and Scotland utterly whiffed away to some of the smaller teams. Anything can happen

this is our only change imho for the world cup. in 4 years time williams will have more than likely retired. He's such a leader, and i don't think there's anyone around coming through who would be the same. The attack would be fine, but we wouldn't have the solid defence which the euro qualifying campaign was built on.

we are Brasil 1970 mixed with Barça 2008 compared to Traps team though. Its not great but it feels pretty good after the pure rubbish put up with for years. Staunton thru to Trap. grim.
