Another Clattenburg shocker.

I don't think that was a red card offence.

A ridiculous goal allowed to stand for Arsenal.

And an Arsenal guy should have been off for a professional foul.

i was thinking earlier I should have put a bet on Arsenal to score a penalty as with the bottled handball goal and red card decisions, a dodgy pen was nailed on.

Hull committed suicide there, but Arsenal should have been down to 10 men for most of the second half. Some strange decisions (well it is Clattenberg so probably not strange as such lol) throughout the game.

i mean, it was in the 90th minute and they were down a goal. not much point in not bombing forward to lose only by 1.

I thought the Hull left back Robertson had a very good game. Composed, passed well, and got forward at every opportunity. Reminded me of Baines at his best. We could do a lot worse as a natural successor to Baines than him...

if hull would have snatched a draw there, i would have said there was a slight chance we could catch arsenal. 3 defeats in a row and an impending CL exit, they would have been pretty fragile. We still need a second half similar to koeman's saints last season to open up anything though.

Oh well, it just means that with Arsenal getting three points, it makes it just that little bit harder for the RS to catch them up in the race for top 4. An Arsenal defeat or draw would have made them quite happy. To keep hot on their heels, the RS have to beat Spurs later today now.

RS are out of the CL race imo. I know silly to say with them being so close, but i think they've blown it and played all their cards. There's every chance they'll be closer to us at the end of today than they will be to arsenal and spurs and then tomorrow they could be closer to us than 4th.

Agreed, toffee, but I don't want to see them have any kind of a sniff of a chance of being there or thereabouts. I want to see them go into the second derby of the season totally deflated...
