Today's football.

Definitely not.

Its one thing watching them try to break down a massed defense, which Levante are very good at at home, it's another when they play a team who will come out and play them. City will give them enough space, unless they go defensive also...which I don't think will.

Great game today from the old dudes of Levante.

City will beat Barca. Absolutely no doubt in my mind.

Like Bayern and to a lesser extent Chelsea, City are a powerful side. Barca's worst kind of opponents.

Surely you can allow players, regarless of winning the ball or not, tackle with two footed lunges with the studs showing? Has to be red every time for me

If the players get most or all of the ball and little to none of the player, I don't see a problem honestly

Football is a contact sport at the end of the day

If a player gets scythed down at the ankle and gets taken off on a stretcher, that's a red

Raphael barely touched the other player. He was just annoyed that he lost the ball and made a fuss to the ref, like a giant [Poor language removed]

Footballers used to be tough men who could face challenge

Just another example of prissy and cowardly footballers being over protected in the modern game

theres nothing cowardly about it, once your entire body is off the ground you have no control, if you mis time that your breaking a leg, plus there is no reason to ever do a two footed tackle unless you are a coward looking to protect yourself, they are the worst thing in football and should be eradicated, I've seen lads never kick a ball again after these disgusting 'tackles'

Interesting viewpoint. I will agree with you that the players are over protected to a certain degree.

However, for me there is no place in football for the sort of challenge Rafael did. Winning the ball or not, it can't be allowed IMO.

Mate, if you think that kid is an ordinary teen you're eating too many mushies. The lids a superb footballer with a good temprament to go with it. He'll be a superb player in time, already is really. In terms of influencing games there's not to much difference between him and Ross.

God call best young talents in the league them lads

I go to watch United januzaj is awesome for an 18 year old

Seen young Ross on the tv and what a talent that lad is awesome

This is the first time I have ever known my brother in law to not watch the match in my mums. We were all wanting to watch it, he said "I don't do self-harm".

No joke. Sorry Nev.

He got the ball but what if the player was a second quicker and he got the player instead of the ball?

As people have already said a 2 footed in the air (without no control) tackle can cause a certain leg break, which could end someone's career. Definite sending off and should be eradicated from the game.
