Because as soon as they get put under pressure they slip passes through to their forwards who more often than not score haha, I guess it's mainly because they're weak when being countered and so teams play like this.

Spanish teams gave them room a few years ago when Messi was just coming onto the scene, and it rarely ended well. Ever since then the status quo has been to sit deep and hit them on the counter.

I think as time goes on more and more sides will perfect the method that worked well for Chelsea last season. Hopefully that forces Barca to stop playing the same boring style.

That Bayern team we saw last night wont concede ground quite so easily. Schweinsteiger, Kroos, Martinez and Gustavo will pose a massive challenge for this lot.
