Did you ever notice when talented young players get away from Rednapp that do pretty well for themselves? Bent has 5 in 6. Nugent comes off the bench and gets a brace. Maybe getting Bentley or someone like Bale isn't a bad idea after all.

I like Nugent. I thought he showed a good attitude at Portsmouth. He didn't let his head drop and he worked his bollocks off when he got in the team. I'm not sure he'll ever be a Premier League class finisher (mind you, there's loads of them in the Premier League), but he's well better than his Portsmouth career indicated.

He was often very unlucky at Portsmouth. I've said before every time he played for them he looked pretty good. For some reason he was often played out wide as well there. It would be nice to him as a sub/heir to Saha at CF.
