The problem isn't the Halewood Blues of this world, its the fact that they hate the current custodians and use other authors who write their articles to do their dirty work.

Would Tony Marsh survive on GOT, which is perhaps one of the more liberal Everton forum's? I think he'd be banned after his second post.

As Bill once said about one of their writers, good writer, but writes a load of [Poor language removed].

That said, I've expunged all mention of it on my computer and would only visit the site under threat of violence.

'Kipper, now that's a comedy act in motion. Went on it the other day, and soon realised why my visits were so fleeting. I love the rumours and pictures thread, a class above most forums.

Its just a shame that people spoil it by participating in their forums(y)

Why would Tony Marsh be banned? He is only wheeled out (Toffeeweb owners determine articles published the last time I viewwed the site) when we lose, or when DK rears its head. He has a function to serve on their behalf as he's their rottweiler in chief.

No chance of him being banned,they share too much of his negative and dangerous views.

Makes me glad we have Davek (y) many of us may not always like his views, but he is pretty persuasive without being abusive. Plus his comment on "I've been misquoted" has to be a forum classic.

I agree with what you say, btw. At the risk of having this admission thrown in my face in the future, I think the rules this forum has in place regarding abuse does pay dividends in the end. It doesn't allow debates to get tied up in knots about who called who this, that or the other. Of course, it doesn't mean it's perfect - some mods *coughs* can make certain posters their hobby horse - but by and large it's a success. (y)

It's just the cliquey bastards that spoil it. :P
 

Maybe I've missed something, but there seems to be a rivalry between Toffeeweb and Grand Old Team? Of course I read all about GOT under "The Site" link. Don't come on Toffeeweb that often, but what happened in the past between the two of them. Always thought GOT was Toffeewebs forum, but it seems a bit more complicated than that?:unsure::unsure::unsure:
 
Theres enough internet space for everyone, any rivalry between forums would make my teeth itch through embarassment.

Find your place, say stuff and do your thang. Theyre all good in their own ways.
