Gomes was the problem tonight, not saying he had great game but was next to a player who got beaten all game.

Davis and the likes of gomes are second or even 3rd choice. They arent first choice. 1 injury and 1 suspension back and neither start. For me to have them in squad is ok. As back up only when completely necessary.

They sat deep because Davies and Gomes couldn't put a foot on the ball in midfield.

He lost the ball a dozen or so times in the first half.
