Thought Gomes legs went in the second half. Watching him chase their players was like me chasing my 5 year old son on his bike when I'm on foot. Tough for Davies.

They sat deep because Davies and Gomes couldn't put a foot on the ball in midfield.

He lost the ball a dozen or so times in the first half.

Have you watched us play lately? It’s not just today we’ve sat deep and allowed teams to pressure us constantly, with or without Tom it’s how we seem to play. If Tom was that bad why did Carlo leave him on?

It's less about what he did wrong and more about the fact he little he did at all. We can't go on playing him in these games, at some point we need to actually step up and try to compete properly without camping out on our 18 yard box.

Oh come on, we've just been taught a footballing lesson because our midfield couldn't compete. The idea we persist with Davies and just accept we're going to be outplayed every time we come up against a decent team is pathetic.

One of those co-operative lessons where you teach each other something?

being taught a lesson would be us going toe to toe and losing 3-0. We sat deep and invited them on and looked to nick a goal here and there. Pretty even all told
