It just goes to show the lack of depth we have that when we play a few games in a week and pick up an injury, in comes this young man. That's fine for what it is, but it's not really the move of a side that will seriously trouble the top four. I wish him well. I just don't rate him and his inclusion flies in the face of the optimism that is building around the club these days.

He's gone out and signed two central midfielders and Davies is firmly last choice resort here.

I'd say he made his opinion fairly clear this summer.

Delph playing 2 games in 4 days is a risk. This is a massive game for Tom and he’s got to show up and prove he can contribute. It’s a squad game.
