Too many midfielders. Who goes?

As per the thread title. We have an abundance of central midfielders. Obviously Gibson should go, but who else?

Barry has a new contract, so is presumably staying. Obviously there is no desire to lose Morgan, Gana, Davies or Barkley. Leaves us with another one - at least - to offload, be it in Jan or the summer. Would appear to be between Jimmy Mac and Mo Besic?

But who goes?

If 1 of these 2 then I rather sell Besic. He never gets fit. We need players who make contribution not on the treatment table all the time. McCarthy can be a useful DM as he does the pressing and chasing.

Gibson and Barry are not the future, but McCarthy,Besic, Barkley and Gana can all still be part of the future here with Davies and the new signing from United (who's name I can't spell).
