Martin Alvito

Player Valuation: £50m
If we're talking songs, we should also be talking albums. The ones that are all killer, no filler. The antiquated coasters that never left our cars, after we bought them. Much easier list.

Anthrax - Sound of White Noise
Armored Saint - Symbol of Salvation
Death Angel - Act III
Extreme - III Sides to Every Story
King's X - Gretchen Goes to Nebraska
Megadeth - Countdown to Extinction
Pearl Jam - Ten
Rush - Power Windows
Joe Satriani - Surfing with the Alien
Slayer - Seasons in the Abyss

Honorable mentions to Testament's The Legacy for all the high school roadwork miles, and The Fragile, by Yes. Probably the best album cover of all time, in addition to the contents.

I actually bought two of the above (Gretchen/Alien) on the same day in a used music store in Ann Arbor. That day's haul was disgusting. You would think that Puppets would be on the list, but habituation is a thing.

Horrified by the absence of Hall and Oates in this list

This eclectic list reminds me of my mate, great guitarist and does a bit of teaching guitar in his spare time. He put up a flyer to drum up a bit of business, which said -

Guitar Tuition Lessons

I mean, Satch was a guitar teacher with an obscene coaching tree, until he wasn't.

That one is loaded with underrated tracks. I'm a Badmotorfinger guy, but that one is also stacked.
