sheffeild wednesday away - a loss would mean an embarrasing cup exit.

middlesborough home - they are a struggling team we must beat to keep pace with the top of the prem.home win is so important.

Metalist Kharkiv away - a loss would send us out of europe at the first hurdle again.the embarresment and fallout would be immense.

Newcastle away - possible european place rival. we need to win to not fall behind in prem race.

Liverpool home - need i say anything ?

Derby home - anything other than a win would be a shock.


the boro and toon matches are the only games we can afford slight slip ups and save a bit of face.the other games are defo must wins though.

but is 6 wins (or 4 wins + 2 draws)from 6 games far too much to ask ?

normally i would fancy us to win most of them with a draw v liverpool not a bad result, but the way we are playing at the mo god nos

we need arteta back and playing well, we need aj to get a goal or 2, we need the yak to do something, we need some luck, maybe a few decisions from the refs and all in the next 3 games or it does all go tits up me thinks

i agree but think if we throw it away and the unthinkable happens v metalist we could regret it
