Transfer Window Debacle

Is it me or is this window crap just ruining football?

For instance we now have the possibility of losing an International defender during the season. So any preparation that Moyes has done with him was wasted.

Personally I reckon that all business must be concluded between the last day of the Premier League season and 2 weeks before the new season begins.

If you can't get your players signed in that time then tough. And no window in January either. If you run out of players than you will have to draft in the youth.

Right to your post, if we adopted this 2 week window that you would like, we wouldnt have any players. The windows are fine as they are, the nearer to the end of the window you buy players, the more thats added on.

See Fellaini, Marouane for an example.

The windows are fine as they. In my view.

Are they? Why are we faffing about signing players 2 weeks into the season? How is that fine for the preparation of the team and squad? It isn't fine.

Not saying the windows are moved, I just think it would benefit the league if squads are in place before the season starts.
While I can understand your thoughts and in some way agree with them, the problem is that not all leagues start at the same time. For example: The swedish league plays during the summer, so the transfer window is smack in the middle of their league, Serie A starts this weekend and the spanish league start next weekend.

I don't think they will change international standards for transfers just because it would fit the Premier League. A more logical change would be to postpone the start of the PL for another two weeks so it doesn't start until the last weekend in August to avoid this happening.

I have said it before and i will say it again. If they wish to have a transfer window for players, then they should have one for managers.

Something like that yeah.

I don't really get why Real are held up as paragons of transfer excellence. They have a [Poor language removed] load of money to spend over the odds on players. That's why they get them in early, it's nothing else. When a club doesn't have much money the selling club will always hang on for a Spurs to outbid us, hence why we get most of our players at the runt end of the window.

I dont think the window is the problam. It's just that Moyes ( an i do love the guy) Is [Poor language removed] at signing players. When he finaly brings people in they are usally good. But he's just [Poor language removed] at doing it!!

SO.......

MOYES OUT!!!!!!!!!

Whilst were at it, can we change rules so that goals from teams in blue count double, and if you've got a "v" in your name then it's treble.
