TV Series

Watched 'Away' on Netflix, about a first manned mission to Mars. Its okay, characters are its best quality imo. Hillary Swank is pretty good in it. Fully expect more seasons but it will be quite predictable.
Any sci-fi problems are grounded and fleshed out by the 'relatable' human relationship issues that are quite basic. Parental crisis, teenage love, and initial sparks of affairs back on Earth which could all be in any production ever, and honestly doesn't have all that much to do with Mars or any real science fiction, detracts from it for me. Its episode after episode of the above happening while a thing inevitably goes wrong on their spaceship. All quite predictable but mildly enjoyable.

I enjoyed it.

Wont be for everyone.
Are 2, 3 & 4 as good as 1 or does it just drop off?
I really, really liked the first 2 seasons. 3rd and 4th aren't as good but as with any sci-fi/mystery TV series, the mysteries can't keep building up and eventually there has to be some form of explanation, otherwise you end up losing interest in it. Hopefully season 5 is a tad more conclusive. I'd recommend it though.

I liked the belter loader girl.

Maybe, I mean it’s hardly like they could have followed it at this point anyway. The Victoria Neuman stuff is just completely new though (despite her name being similar to Vic the Veep’s).

Really enjoyed S2, was the guy in the hospital with the giant dong supposed to be the Russian supe?

Differences I remember are The Boys all taking V to fight the bad guys - maybe they’ll have to do this in S3? Mothers Milks mum being super freaky, that crazy Russian evil tiny woman and that bald guy who lives in the comic book store. They’ve deviated quite abit really.

Love Sausage? Yeh that’s him haha I was pleased they managed to slip him in there. I think the series has gone on too far now to start to marry up The Boys with the powers they should have but we’ll see. I mean the whole Black Noir storyline from the comics seems to have been ignored so I have no idea where the show is going but I guess that’s a good thing. Can’t see the Legend being in it either.

"Haunted" on Netflix, two series of supposedly true stories of ghosts, demons, possessions and apparitions, though the two scariest stories "Slaughterhouse" and "Cult of torture" are real monsters because they are human, theres around 5/6 stories in each series and only about 30 minutes each,so easy to get through
