TV Series

The Silent Sea, Korean, Netflix

In terms of concept its not too unique, but it does have some subtleties that helps it stand apart from your typical sci-fi mystery, although it doesn't really develop them and the last few episodes kind of just repeat some twists that have already happened and revert to some boring tropes. It might be worth a watch if you really like sci-fi/space mysteries but it likely won't leave you feeling satisfied.

Brilliant series ;)

Thought season 1 was far superior.
You would think wrong. It actually having a coherent storyline through the season makes it better than the scattered series of character backstories taking place at different points in time.

Silent sea = One of the biggest Korean flops of recent years.

Witcher = The 1st season storyline was pretty easy to follow. Quite enjoyable with lots happening and unfolding throughout.

Second season, or the 'politically correct' season was just plain boring. I was especially tired of hearing "she is so beautiful" directed at actresses. Although with the very ugly ones (who for some reason didnt use magic to make themselves pretty) i suppose balanced it out.

They need to improve the writing and casting for season 3...change the writers and director.

Imagine putting in the reps and going through acting school. Living hand-to-mouth while you pick up shifts in a bar or a restaurant, saving money for professional photos, auditioning for whatever tiny role you can get and slowly building up your portfolio.

At times, you wonder if it's even worth the hassle, living off pot noodles and waiting for a break that will never come. But slowly, you build a career. It's volatile, you're out there hustling for regular work that sometimes comes, sometimes doesn't. Appearing in pilots and praying that one of them takes off.

Finally, you make a breakthrough. One of the pilots is picked up and you finally have a regular stream of income coming in, for a little while at least. Most of all, you have exposure and something really substantial to put on your CV. You celebrate with friends and family, who have barely seen you but you supported you all the way over the last tough few years.

Imagine doing all this, only for the quality of your show and your performance to be reduced to a singular evaluation of your appearance by a grotesque, sweaty sex pest with a fetish for kids getting bombed. What a world

It's not 'bad', but not 'good' in any way either...

The female lead as 'helen' is very attractive so I will keep watching purely for her...

However, one absolutely disgraceful thing is casting black actors as greek warriors....

Would they cast white actors as African slaves???

Absolute shocker...
I binged watched the lot last week...i enjoyed it and the women are smoking hot.
Never bothered with lost...shes a really weird person but attractive.
The partner in 1...danielle also
Natalie in 2 and Sandra.

All a bit sub par...
I didnt think the girls in the series were as attractive as those who have been included in my meetings in london. Daria was very attractive but thesedays its either 5'9 eastern european bombshells or 25-35 year olds whose outfits/jewelry would be the equivilent of a luxury car.
Im a bit lost on Yennifer...they make out shes incredibly beautiful but shes quite 'manly'.

Gemma chan (WOW) and also the daughter Matilda are hot as....
Stumbled across dark matter a few months back. Has 2 incredibly hot women in it.
Nicole Kidman looks good, the rest of them...meh.
Is the actress for Elektra the same one who was in daredevil?

If so, she is ridiculously attractive...
