A very decent ending and probably the way it should have ended 3 or 4 seasons into the original run. The deer thing was incredibly stupid.
I had posted before about how I felt he wouldn't be anywhere near a cop let alone in a relationship with one but I guess that he's traumatised, the constant presence of police in his life and she looks a bit like his step-sister kind of get that aspect off the hook plotwise.
But the podcaster....
She's supposedly sharp as a tack and has a hugely succesful podcast with huge investigative resources. Yet she doesn't recognise "Jim" as Dexter Morgan?
He's the brother of a cop who was killed by a notorious serial killer. The same serial killer who he himself later killed, on camera in a police cell, in self defence while in the employ of Miami Metro Police.
The husband of a victim of the Trinity Killer (who she did an episode about) in perhaps his most notorious case with the kid watching.
He was arrested as a suspect in the Bay Harbour Butcher case (also one of her episodes) by a detective who was also murdered months later.
Miami Metro suspected the BHB was one of their own with evidence that the also murdered Doakes was not actually guilty.
This Miami Metro employee involved in all these cases goes missing, presumed dead but with no body ever recovered, with a pictured obituary in the paper. Not a clue who he is though.

Had a wisdom tooth pulled a couple of days ago. Basically it's Telly, ice-cream and no mythering until Everton bring a fresh level of suffering.
Rewatched Godless yesterday. Just as brilliant 2nd time round. Fantastic characters, perfectly cast. Decent ending. (I don't mean the shootout, I mean the sherif, the widow, Roy etc)

Watching this now. I always find in a lot of Korean productions, that they have weird jokey sub characters.
Stick with it, it`s the best one for me.
Hanzee Dent and Mike Milligan are the best characters out of all the series ( imo )
The violence and black comedy goes off the scale as it develops.
Rewatching Boardwalk empire brilliant series, some great actors.

Of the 3 seasons, the second one is the slowest. Worth sticking with IMO. Season 3 is brilliant like the 1st.
