Shogun really is a great show

Started watching Manhunt on Apple TV tonight. A drama about the hunt for the conspirators behind the assassination attempts on Abraham Lincoln, the Vice President and Secretary of State.

Excellent so far

Started The Gentlemen, it’s ok.

He’s never going to get close to the level of snatch again though is he. Too many cheesy characters and average dialogue nowadays, it’s all a bit squeaky clean and overly polished, just nowhere near as funny as his early works.

Also all the characters feel over the top and cheesy, it feels dumbed down, probs to appeal to American audiences tbh.
