Fernandes has reported to Goal.com that he is unhappy at being left on the bench at Valencia. "I always want to play, I've wanted to play since the first day I arrived. But no player likes to have just the odd two minutes." Would we be willing to snap him up in the next transfer window if he were made available? (Nick Xenos)

what did I tell you...I knew this clown would be left on the bench at Valencia and why would we want a nasty piece of work that shakes hands on a verbal agreement with BK trains with the squad all week....when he had his flights booked for valencia.

No thanks Valencia are welcome to him.

Valencia got it right.......about his minutes -and very wrong about the inflated fee.

Fernandes is a bench guy.

Has anybody ever seen him play for 90 minutes ?

Maybe when he is older but not yet .

£12 million for Fernandes ?

Everton missed him ?

We were very , very lucky!

I would love to offer him my sympathies for being told he can play and then being left on the bench...............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................but I am not going to. The [Poor language removed] made me look silly by not signing so he can go and blow. He had the chance to be a legend and ended up signing to be a bench warmer. Fine. as was said previously in this thread. We were lucky at the end. He has a strange attitude. And as for "Would we buy him if the chance arose in the transfer window?" My answer would be NO. Mainly because, his price would still be over inflated as Valencia would not want to lose a penny on him from what they paid in such a short time.

No chance, he wont be welcome back at Goodison. Even at Benfica he told the club and fans that he would be staying at the club throughout the summer only to move.

Nope, Wouldn't buy him after the way he behaved during that weekend.. but on loan for free.. perhaps... if not just to show what he missed when thinking: "£££££" instead of: "play".

little harsh for me that, but I certainly wish his career to nose dive, Valencia to get relegated four times on the bounce and his agents to go bankrupt. None of which I can see happening.

Players and there agents always seem to put money before their careers these days.

First team football, virtually guaranteed under moyes, someone who had proven to get good results out of him.

Or polishing the bench with his arse in sunny spain for an extra 20k a week.

football is a [Poor language removed] shitty game sometimes.

Welcome Swansea Blue, go to the welcome thread in the ale house and tell us all about yourself mate(y)

Mods. Merge this with the Fernandes thread in world football if possible. He chose not to be a blue and does not deserve a spot in the Blue room. a thankyou. ;) ;)
