Hello all,
I am a Manchester United fan from India, and I usually frequent United forums. But I've noticed that opposition fans, when they are rational and unbiased in their opinions, add great value to discussions. Hence I wanted to join a non-United forum, and make the same contributions I'd seen some intelligent rival fans make to other forums.
Why Everton? Because they were the classiest of the other PL clubs I could think of, and the one with the most potential for discussions. This isn't another big sugar-daddy club who can buy their way out of trouble, but one yearning to compete with the above with much more limited resources. The fact that you have a rivalrly with Liverpool helped, too.
I also happen to know a teensy bit about Everton's history, how you've spent a record number of seasons playing top tier football, your success in the 1980s, the Moyes era signings, and your best points tally under Roberto Martinez. I would like to learn more, though. 
Hope I am welcome here despite not being a Toffees fan.
