Probably the biggest unsolved case in Australian history - the Beaumont children.

January 1966, three children (9, 7, 4) catch a bus to the beach in Glenelg, Adelaide. They were seen later in the day leaving the beach area in the company of an unknown man & never seen alive again. The parents lived into their 90's without ever finding out what happened. Imagine carrying that kind of grief for all those years

This case has never gone away, still continues to surface in the media. It happened 58 years ago tomorrow on Australia day - Jan 26. I imagine much will be made of it on the 60th anniversary.
