Hello! You may remember me as the Norwich City supporter who was looking for relatives of my father John Berry, who died in 1995 and was an Everton fan. Lots of helpful comments on my post and I thought I would update you that I tracked down his sister and we had a chat on the phone after 30 years and shared photos and memories - just wanted to say thanks to all who contributed to the post.
Still hoping to get to Goodison before the end of the season, I’ve chosen Everton v Ipswich as my game to attempt to get a ticket for but I understand that they’re not likely to go on general sale. Any advice on how I can try for a ticket would be welcomed! My Dad’s ashes are buried there and I’d like to make one last visit before the stadium (possibly) goes - although if it is kept for the women’s team, that would be great.
