Utah close to any of our American friends?

Mick thats quite a run for me. I made the Columbus Crew game last year and I am hopeful they will pick up a game closer in the eastern seaboard. My thoughts are if they are out west they may entertain a L.A. Galaxy or Chivas friendly or perhaps go South West to TX Bill country to play FC Dallas or the Houston Dynamo.

When will Sky list the TV fixtures?

with Senor beckham at the galaxy I imagine that would be a good one to get.

Just found out Chelsea are playing Beckham's Galaxy the same time we play Real Salt Lake. He is suppose to debut that night also.

On a side note Real Salt Lake played last night and looked absolutely awful against FC Dallas(and they didn't look much better). So we should bang a few in against them. Wouldn't you know it the pitch they play on has the college gridiron markings showing thru I just hate that. I'm a football purist and hate to see confusing lines albeit dimmed out. Also the pitch is the artifical type so beware of the bouncing ball. :o

Just a shame that Everton go to Salt Lake City (not sure there'll be any Blues there) instead of Toronto, Chicago, NY, etc. where a bunch of us could probably make it. Here in TO we get Villa instead :(

[Poor language removed]!!! Why not come to the North East during pre-season!!! It is beautiful out here. Utah, land of Mormons, and on the other side of the country from me

Nope, I am in Connecticut. We flew to VA, stayed with friends then drove the 600-odd miles to CT.

Been there Dylan, went out Whale watching. In fact at the time spent 3 weeks touring New England from Delaware right upto the Canadian border at Maine. Had a great time.

Crumbs, it is easier to say where did we not stop. A short monlogue. After landing at newark and picking up our Alamo car took off on the Garden Route, I think it was to Cape May and stayed there for a few nights, grat for seafood. Spent a day over the bay in Delaware. After drove north past NY to Hermanosette and the following day to Gloucester for the whale watching. Near there went shopping in Rockport. After Gloucester travelled north to Millienocket to see Baxter State Park. From there went to I think Pinkham in New Hampshire and onto Pittsburgh there. Went up Mount Washington really great, lovely and warm down below but on the top blowing like crazy.

That Dylan is a very quick summary but truly a memorable trip. Seen Dozens of Moose, Racoon, Coyote, other deer or elk, Beavers and half a dozen Black Bears. The people we met were great.
