Not many Villa fans are still in thrall to Lerner ans they are even more skint than we are by all accounts.....United fans are having a schism over Glazer......and only the spectacular form of Rat Boy is silencing Kop doubts about John Henry.

Mansoor and Roman are a different kettle of fish to your average buyer and apart from those two, no other has been an unqualified success.

Most of them have been a massive fail...everyone whom has owned Pompey, Venkys, Tan and just tp prove ot ain't just Jojmmy Foreigner who pisses off fans, the fat bugger at the Barcodes.

Liverpool fans would moan about any owner who hasn't got City style money, Henry has massively invested in the club and is a good owner, Villa pissed near £150 million up the wall which Lerner was kind enough to invest had Moyes been manager not O'Neil they probably could have established themselves as a regular top 4 club challenger with that sort of money (before city got their takeover and muscled in)

cost them almost £1 billion to buy Utd considering they are not middle eastern royalty or Russian oil barons. The situation Utd is in would be totally different to what it would be if they owned everton simply as we would cost much much less.

Man U hasn't cost the Glazers anything. That's what I meant by the leech loans. It's these loans that are paying. Glazers are making profits on the high interest rates (which are paid for by Man Utd's profits).

Inevitable result if Tan was the owner here.

They paid for the club mainly with borrowed money that the club then paid £60m a year to service

They also paid themselves collective wages of £20m per year

If you think the Glazers constitute an example of good ownership then this topic isn't for you mate

People complain about kenwright not putting any money in, and then saying they would prefer the Glazers?
Also Lerner isn't putting a bean into villa these days, and Fernandes? Christ. The only ones who'd be better than Kenwright would be the sheiks, I wouldn't want Abramovich anywhere near the club.

Stop cluttering the board up with ****e please mate, no matter how well Martinez has done, Bill's still a disaster.

who are you talking to? If anyone's cluttering up the board with crap it's you and your master.

Calling Bill a disaster is a matter of opinion, and not a very learned one either.

Kettle calling the pot black here, there's not a thread on this forum that you and your like minded cronies don't hijack, turning it into another tiresome Bill bashing fest.
Intransigence I believe is the correct medical term for it.

Would rather have Kenwright over Tan and the venkys but on the other hand I would rather have Southamptons, Stokes etc. For each bad one there are many decent ones who are providing money to buy players

Most chairmans are idiots, you just see and read about the ones that sell the most column inches.

Coulda, woulda, shoulda.

All speculation and what iffery, pal.

But the facts are that Lerner has ceased being the sugar daddy he was and Villa are as financially restrained we are......despite having the "investment" and "takeover" so many on here long for.

Chelsea and Citeh are the only two unqualified successes where these buy outs are concerned.

And even at Citeh, it took two goes to get it right after the dictator from Thailand had them first.
