For £2.5m he'd be a snip. He's only 22 so has time to improve, he has some experience of European football, he's got 8 caps for England and has 14 goals from just 55 starts at senior level so has a decent scoring record.

Sure he's not going to set the world on fire ala Ronaldo and doesn't have the promise of a Nano but we're not in that kind of league yet unfortunatly and he'd be an improvement on what we have at the moment.

Think he'd make a great buy for £2.5M. And I also think that Everton is a much better place for him to play in than ManU.. mostly (naturally) because we are a better team, but also because he won't have to try and do something extra to be noticed in a positive way and that might make him bloom and improve his game.
