All seems fake news to me.

The Mykolenko thread on Saturday and Sunday was very poor.

Nobody was blaming him though in regards of benitez and digne. Just about his debut. And there were just as much positive posts.

His debut was - to anyone who was being fair - very encouraging.

There was unnecessasry criticism of a player on his debut.

As for it not linked to Benitez - I;m not the only one on here who made that connection.

The criticism was no doubt bound up with Digne leaving...a proxy battle with the manager.

So just I'm getting this right, if you slate the new lb your doing it because your anti bentiez ( haven't seen anyone slate him either )

Some things I might think are unpallatable or obvious mistakes being made. But it would be completely wrong not to give a new Everton player their chance to prove themselves...somthing that some on here refused to hand to Mykolenko...even though the lad was having an acceptable first game.

He's blameless in all of that

New to the League and the club

Give him a chance

Strange, just a single match and some fans (toxic ones) have stooped so low that they already want him to fail and have already declared him a flop/slow etc so that they just get a chance to slate the manager. These guys are better avoided.

I said I wasn't the only one who say saw the criticism of Mykolenko as being linked to Digne/Benitez...You asked for evidence...I supplied it...I'm whipping something up that doesn't exist.

I've seen Patterson play.

Hpeless defender.

I'm glad Kenny played lasst night, because the last thing we needed was Patterson at RB getting steamrollered.

If this is you supporting him, I hope you don't turn against him.

For what it's worth, I thought he was beaten easily a fair few times but, first game, mitigating circumstances. No Digne agenda in any form whatsoever. Some good points but needs to get up to speed quickly. He'll have my support anyway (both new FB's)

Exactly this, too early to judge him yet, especially as Kiev were on their winter break prior to him signing.

I did however think he would have been bigger, everything I've read about him seemed to suggest that he was a strong powerful player, he looked like he could do with a couple of bowls of scouse .

He's got little head syndrome. lol
