If you pay big money for an international Footballer, expecting them to play is not “throwing them in at the deep end”.

Allegedly he was. There are loads of injuries that can stop you playing but enable you to still sit on a bench!

The problem for the lad is that we needed a left - back to come in and hit the ground running after we lost our boss World Cup winning left - back. It's not his fault that he needs time to get up to speed in the prem.

I haven't a problem with Digne - good player but not a great one and £25 million was a decent fee for a player 29 in a few months time.

I was neither on Benitez or Digne's side Jakey - Benitez was stubborn and Digne wanted oot/pulled a sickie at Chelsea.

Not everything is one side or another.

I was disappointed that Digne left but he wasn't 100% innocent in all of it neither is he irreplaceable.
