Or his 2 international wing backs brought in to help behind the scenes. Do Baines and Cole have any say in matters?
Baines saw what was in front of him, with his head in his hands he decided to take the u18's job as he knew he had more chance helping develop the younger generation than getting anything out of Myko. A lad that's already hit his peak.

As for Cole, he's still trying to get blood out of a stone...

Also the more you see of Lamps, does he really listen to any advice from his staff. he spends 90mins each game chatting to his assistant yet nothing ever changes until the last 5mins so I doubt its advice/tactics they are talking. I'm starting to think joe is just his yes man, agreeing with everything he says to make him feel better about his 'so called gameplan'.

I remember reading (in the athletic) that Myko had been scouted for a long time and Ancelotti was a fan. McNeil definitely had been heavily scouted for the last couple of years
