He's having a decent season, excellent today especially in the first half, I don't totally understand the shouts that we need an upgrade.

He is a good PL left back now especially defensively but we do need another left back who is better going forward you need options they can rotate with each other and fight for their place. We have had one left back of note for seasons to improve you need two good options per position.

I respect both managers if im honest - which is a nice position to be in, as i said in another thread - i think the mean result with this group of players is a draw who ever the manager is.

Mykos form was off a cliff this season until Moyes came in though!

Mykolenko when fully fit and in form has been a very very solid player for us who has shut down numerous top wingers multiple times. He’s been exactly what we’ve needed in this period and we’re a better team when he’s in it.

A lot of people on here grew up watching prime Leighton Baines but if he’s the yardstick we compare left backs to then we’ll be disappointed for a long time as we may never see one as good as him again in people’s lifetimes. He’s arguably one of the best in Everton’s history. Digne has played for multiple top CL teams and he couldn’t hold a candle to him in my view.

I actually think we've asked a lot of Myko is his time here.

We’re in the championship (at best) if he hadn’t have stood up in the run in 21/22. He was absolutely colossal then.

I never worry when hes up against anyone in a 1 on 1, Salah, Bowen, Saka anyone - its like the way Hibo used to do a great defending job on Ronaldo.
